This heavy British Officers sword is one of my prized possessions.  I have always loved military history and an 1840’s sword is full of history.  This victorian heavy cavalry sword with regulation hilt has a stepped pommel and a fish skin grip is bound by silver wire. The slightly curved blade is pipe backed and maker marked W. A. Todd Londons Norwich.   The hand engraved panels of a Victorian early crown  and decoration. Complete with steel scabbard with two loose rings overall length 38.5 inches the blade 33 inches.  This piece is of exceptional quality and condition.  The insurance replacement valuation would be $3,600.00 CAN with a fair market value being $2,000.00 CAN.
